J&D Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Kerikeri, 26 km from Opua Forest, 4.5 km from Kemp House and Stone Store, as well as 21 km from Haruru Falls. We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. Offering a garden and garden view, Kiwiblue is situated in Kerikeri, 1.3 km from Kemp House and Stone Store and 20 km from Haruru Falls. Beautifully fitted out. The bed was so comfortable! Very private. Great little walk to the Stone Store. We loved looking out the big windows into the garden and eating on the deck. A really relaxing place to stay.

The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Russell, 200 metres from Tapeka Point Beach, 2.8 km from Long Beach, as well as 1.2 km from Flagstaff Hill. We had a great time. Bridget was extremely welcoming and accommodating around our needs. We highly recommend The Pacific Room.

Boasting garden views, Fantail River Lodge offers accommodation with balcony, around 20 km from Opua Forest. This guest house features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Everything was perfect! The property has a beautiful ground with an outdoor area by the river. The loft itself where we stayed was perfect. It’s very dog friendly with a gated garden for our dog to roam around. The space has everything we need and more! Chris and Val are absolutely lovely, such amazing hosts and we’d love to go back there. Thank you for your unrivaled hospitality :)

Paradise on The Strand is set in Russell, 2 km from Tapeka Point Beach, 500 metres from Christ church, and 400 metres from Russell Museum. Our experience with Karen at Paradise On the Strand surpassed all expectations... and after seeing the photos and reading the reviews, our expectations were high! This was the pinnacle of excellent lodging experiences during our 7 weeks in New Zealand. Karen provided just the right amount of friendly genuine engagement, and privacy. A short walk through the bush each morning took us to Long Beach to watch the sun rise, coffee in hand (coffee cart on beach). Sunsets were spectacular! BREAKFASTS were presented each day with abundance, freshness, creativity and variety; always delicious! Home-made yoghurt, honey from Karen's son's hives, AND warm bread just out of the oven for an afternoon tea surprise! We WILL return!

Offering a garden and river view, Taranaki is situated in Waihaha, 18 km from Christ church and 19 km from Russell Museum. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Very beautiful .... and very friendly and helpful! I would love to be there again! 🙂

Located in Paihia and with Paihia Beach reachable within 500 metres, Chalet Romantica provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. We really enjoyed our short stay at Chalet Romantica. The hostess was very attentive and helpful and gave us great tips for our stay. The rooms, the beds are simply first class and the view is really great.

Offering quiet street views, Top of the Bay is an accommodation situated in Paihia, 600 metres from Te Ti Bay Beach and less than 1 km from Paihia Beach. Charming property with the most amazing views. The property was immaculately clean and our host Stacey was warm and welcoming which made our stay even more pleasurable. We would return in a heartbeat.
