The owner, Odelba and her family were awesome! So kind and helpful. The place has a great location to do whatever you want to do in Ometepe, very clean, solar energy, great wifi, filtered water, hammocks. All good. We loved it so much that we are staying one more full month!

Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

The property was very clean and new, with a nice garden area. Danilo was helpful in every aspect. Whether it was getting a great deal for a scooter, or recommendations on where to eat or what activities were available, he was on top of it all. You get a great place to stay and a wealth of information. You will not do better at this price point. Thank you Danilo

Located in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano, Hostal Así es mi Tierra provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The property features garden views. Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Hostal Bullshark is a recently renovated guest house set in Cuatro Esquinas, 16 km from Maderas Volcano. The hostel is beautifully set up, rooms are spacious and there is a great garden with a platform looking out over the lake and volcano where you can have your (delicious) breakfast. You can rent scooters for 15 dollars per day and because of it's central location, you're everywhere in no time. But the highlight of the hostel is definitely the hostess, who is incredibly sweet and caring! In the end, we even stayed twice as long as initially planned :)
