Casa Azul is a rambling old house with loads of character, and lots of stairs. I'd begin each day on the roof terrace with coffee, listening to the roosters and church bells, and enjoying the incredible views over the city!

Probably the softest and most comfortable I've ever stayed in. Check-In was very simple - the day before our stay I was contacted as a greeting, and was provided a person to text when en route to the hotel. On the day of arrival I was also contacted to arrange meeting the house keeper outside the property on arrival. Really pleasing and very friendly. Location was perfect.

However, what truly stands out is the outstanding courtyard. It offers a delightful and serene ambiance, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good book.

Lovely place in a great location for visiting San Miguel. This place is in the heart of the town, within walking distance to every sight! The owners are always quick to respond via WhatsApp which is very helpful. The place was very authentic and seemed very private, maybe because no one was in the other 2 rooms during our stay. The amenities, bed and shower were great. They also sorted our laundry for a small fee. Kitchen facilities were good but stove and lighter were not working.
