Featuring river views, JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place provides accommodation with patio, around 2.1 km from Tissa Wewa. I felt like a home. The owner was really nice to me, help me with Yala park, her husband drove me to the bus and she made a beautiful smoothie for me. Highly recommend

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. The host was incredible and truly went above and beyond, he organised everything for us for the safari tour and even drove us to the bus stop. We had a free coconut on check in and a juice on checkout. The room was lovely nd big and clean with great air conditioning. An amazing experience, especially for the price!

21 km from Situlpawwa, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated property set in Kataragama and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Whioe experience is amazing. The facilities are wonderful, very tidy and clean. We visited the spice garden. The staff is incredible. They organized the safari for us, with pickup and dropoff at their hotel. The food is the best we tasted in Sri Lanka. They impressed us with buffalo yogurt and honey for dessert. For finish, they provided us the taxi to our next destination. Highly recommend them.

Offering a garden and garden view, Lake Front Yala Safari is located in Kataragama, 18 km from Tissa Wewa and 18 km from Situlpawwa. Amazing place to stay and also amazing safari! We did the full day safari and it was a great experience! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

Extremely kind & accomodating hosts. They served us coconut water on arrival. The location is 45 mins away from yala national park, block 1. The host himself arranges safari so guests can book with him. He is very prompt for all the needs and he contacted us as soon as we booked the stay. Our food choices were very well taken care of. Lovely breakfast: pic attached. He let us check out a little late as we wanted to do the safari and provided us breakfast when we wanted. Room was very nice with clean linen and towels. Soaps were provided. Hot water was available. Ceiling fan present. Host keeps all necessary beverages in the fridge which can be bought from him.

Situated in Tissamaharama, 1.8 km from Tissa Wewa, Yala Safari Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We really liked our stay at Tissa Lake Resort. The owner is very friendly, he gave us info on a safari tour beforehand and when we agreed on booking it with him, he even offered us a free dinner the day we arrived. The staff also gave us a welcome drink and a 'goodbye' drink when we checked out. The room was very clean, spacious and quite modern (in comparison to a lot of other rooms we stayed at). Hot water was available and there was a mosquito net. The accommodation also has a large common area to relax and it's opposite the lake so it's in a beautiful environment. We would definitely recommend this place!

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with terrace, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

Located just 2.1 km from Kirinda Beach, Suduweli Beauties of Nature - Yala provides accommodation in Kirinda with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Super unique property with wetlands surrounding it and owner’s special “pets”. Hosts were lovely and arranged amazing safari for me. They are very kind and helpful!! Highly recommend.

Featuring garden views, V Cabanas & Yala Safari Place features accommodation with patio, around 2.6 km from Tissa Wewa. The site is a 10 and the room is also excellent. Often in hotels they are annoying and insistent so that you hire excursions, transportation, etc. with them, but this has not been the case. I saw the rice harvesting process.
