Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. This place is absolutely amazing! The rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. The balcony chairs are nice and the hang out area around the pool is super peaceful. The breakfast was great and the nightly buffet was, without a doubt, one of the best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The host made us feel so much at home, with a relaxed and welcoming demeanor. All his recommendations was great and he really made us feel special. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

There were so many choices for a place to stay for a safari but this one is the perfect one! Very calm place surrounded by nature, very clean and delicious local food! They arranged the half day safari for us with a breakfast in a private place in the park which was great! The family is the most adorable, we really felt home! We even had the opportunity to learn how to cook sri lankan with them😍 The son is the one who imagined and created the cottage which makes it even a better place. They give all their heart to it! We were sad leaving this place! Thank you for everything & we hope to come back to see you all soon!

We booked this place to serve us for a sleep over for our safari tour. However, this turned out to be a great surprise as the facility and staff exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean, the best bathroom during our Sri Lanka trip, comfortable. The backyard is a forest with an amazing feeling of nature being next to you. The staff (a young brother and sister) were really great. Our breakfast was marvelous. And the facility was very very cheap. I think the team should reconsider the prices. We also used their jeep for safari and the price and quality was very good. Suresh was our guide and he was very very good with identifying all species of birds, not just a generic elephant observer. We were very satisfied with our tour. This was a great stay for us and we can suggest to everyone.

Very nice rooms with a spectacular open air bathroom. Very friendly hosts and easy to book a private Safari. Dinner was also very tasty and as much as you could eat. To bad we didn't stay longer. Also we forgot some earings and they offered to send them via DHL. Upper most honesty.

Good location for safari trips. sahan took great care of us on the safari and taught us a lot about the animals. Staff at the resort were really friendly. Room was great.

We got to stay in the new accommodation across the road, so comfortable and spacious, in the middle of the banana trees, surrounded by lush nature. We even saw a toucan! We had a great swim in the nearby river with the host’s kids (so cute and sweet), by the way they do everything as a family so don’t be surprised if they come wish you good morning as a group lol. Of course we also did a safari organised by the host and it was definitely worth it. We really recommend this place - a bit secluded from the center of Udawalawa but you don’t need to go outside, everything is provided.

Amazing place to chill and relax by the lake and have the amazing local food. You got a welcome drink and a lot of authentic food. Be aware since there is no network coverage, but the wifi is good. Enjoy chilling at the swing, doing yoga and kayaking in this private lake. The owner is an outstanding man, with a lot of passion and love to nature. Extremely recommended
