I loved staying at this beautiful, proud, authentic and uncompromising Sri Lankan family home come hotel, finished as it was to the highest of standards and so very tastefully decorated, all risen up from the once lakeside bank. I was greeted by my courteous hosts on arrival, respectful of my long journey from the UK, and made to feel welcomed and comfortable right away. My accommodation was as described and expected; it was immaculate (cleaned twice during my stay of three nights) and more than adequate for my needs. The food was delicious; although breakfast was lovely, my evening meals have been the best I have had here so far, being especially well cooked and prepared, further enhancing my first-time-in-Sri Lanka experience. The hosts arranged local tuc tucs and drivers for me, usually at short notice, and we're always keen to help out, particularly with timings on my leaving day. I said that if I came to Sri Lanka again I would stay here again and I meant it. Thank you all for the quality of all of your services and your thoughtfulness throughout my stay.

Boasting garden views, Home From Home provides accommodation with terrace, around 8.1 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station. It is situated 12 km from R Premadasa Stadium and offers a shared kitchen. I could not be happier with the choice to stay here for a little over two weeks as I got my bearings back in Sri Lanka at the start of a long trip for research and work. Sameera has been extraordinarily hospitable, kind, and attentive. More than this, however, he has become my friend. Most nights we hang out on the beautiful deck he has built, drinking a few beers and watching the sun set while sharing stories about our lives and families. I've met many of his local friends, too, and through my time here have come to feel not only completely welcome, but like I belong. If you want a really comfortable place to stay, with well-maintained facilities, consider staying here. But if you want to really get to know folks in the local community and build meaningful connections and amazing memories, DEFINITELY, this is the place for you. I'll be back, for sure.

Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet, guest rooms at 55TG Boutique Suites have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms have a seating area. The rooms have a desk. Certain units include a kitchenette, dining, and a washing machine facilities. We were only here for one night and an early morning the next day however the staff were lovely and the rooms were fantastic. Super clean and easy to check in. Thank you for packing a breakfast super early the morning after. Would love to come back in the future.

Everything was perfect A cozy place, very clean, comfortable, good attention from the owner family of the villa, they are very friendly, kind and servicial. We took breakfast there and omg was delicious, home made cooking. it’s a little far from the city and attractions but I didn’t mind because we spent a nice time there. I would definitely stay again

Spacious. Nice decor. Everything was thought of right down to an umbrella at the door.

Peace and quiet, you can see a Buddhist stupa from the window. Wonderful cozy room with shower and toilet. On the second floor there is a very comfortable common lounge area for work or rest. Wonderful friendly owners. I highly recommend this place and I will gladly come back here!
