Open from August 2017, Guest House Wagokoro offers a modern Japanese-style accommodation an 8-minute stroll away from JR Nippori Station. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom and toilet.

Overall, on our Japanese trip, Wagokoro was the best accommodation out of all our stays - it was the most economical, yet for us, was far preferable than some of the more sophisticated hotels we also stayed in. We loved the neighbourhood - quiet, yet plenty on offer. The station has great food options, the bakery 3 mins walk away was exceptional, and soon became our local, and although we didn't get to try it, there is a fabulous ramen place hidden away on the main road. Wagokoro is about 8-12 mins walk from the station, but that didn't bother us. We were glad for the quiet, after the intense busyness after our days out in Tokyo. (Nippori station is on the JR Yamanote line. It's also a stop on the Keisei Skyliner making it easy to get to from Narita Airport.) The staff were the best - so warm, friendly and helpful - it was like coming back home at the end of each day. The shared food prep and dining area was good for heating up and eating quick meals from the Family Mart, and the bedrooms were the most generously sized out of all our accommodation in Japan.

The accommodation features evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. It was the funnest guesthouse i stayed at. It was a bit away from city center. People in the neighborhood streets were friendly, and peeps in the guesthouse were always having a fun time talking about their experiences.

The guest house, set in a building dating from 1970, is 1.2 km from Kamejimashogakko Memorial Park and 1.2 km from Sumida Cultural Museum. Tobu Museum is 1.3 km away and Ushijima Shrine is 1.4 km from the guest house. The house structure is interesting (in a good way) We got all the amenities like in the hotels. Everything is clean. We had our first experience on Tatami flooring & how to lay a futon. Unlike other self check-in home stay, Kazuki-san is very friendly that he greeted us himself and we had a small chat which I feel warmly welcomed.

Set just 15 km from Motomachi Port, 築100年の宿【はぶの家】 features accommodation in Oshima with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Offering free private parking, the 2-star guest house is 14 km from Oshima Park Zoo. The guest house has a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. Everything was on point! Such a mesmerizing atmosphere, very comfortable, but also historical and so connected to nature! The food was beyond excellent! We liked everything, and would like to come again and again :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!
