Also, it was really close to the beach (5 min by bike) and you could rent surfboards and the bikes were free to use. Would highly recommend to stay here if you're in Aoshima!

Although the air-conditioner is out of order, she tried her very best to solve the problem. She also recommended a very good restaurant for our dinner. Many thanks for her hospitality indeed.

We had an awesome stay at Pumping Surf. If you like to do some surfing in Japan in a relaxing atmosphere you are at the perfect spot. Super cozy Hostel, nicely designed with all the light bulbs. Easy walk through the forest to the beach which was perfect for surfing. Great surfing lesson by the owner, who was super kind and skilled in teaching.

Offering a garden and garden view, Wood be good inn is situated in Nichinan, 18 km from Udo-jingu Shrine and 28 km from Cape Iruka. It was wonderful to stay at Wood be good inn. It was such a beautiful place to be. Highly recommend to stay there. The owner was very friendly and kind and spoke great English. The room was very clean and very comfortable bed with nice bedding. The building was cool, and the inside of the room was very stylish. I love the lighting and furniture that they put in the room. Around that accommodation , hot springs is 5 minutes walk , beautiful forest and creek also 5 minutes walk from Wood be good inn. The night sky was also amazing, so many stars I could see. Breakfast was so good, I ordered Japanese style, and the rice was that they grew an egg from the free-range egg from the thire farm and tasty salmon from Hokkaido. I will definitely come back again to stay. Thank you, Haru and Ryouko, I really enjoyed stay your place.

Located in Ebino, Dan Hiyori - Vacation STAY 08978v has accommodation 37 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine. Yuko san was incredible, very generous, kind and thoughtful. The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. You have your own bathroom, sitting room and futon space so it is private as you need. The food Yuko makes mostly from her garden was delicious!

Guest House Shizuho, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Takachiho, 2.2 km from Takachiho Gorge Freshwater Fish Aquarium, 7.4 km from Amanoiwato Shrine, as well as 43 km from Ogidake Park... They offered us a small kitchen and free tea. The common area gave us the opportunity to meet other people. Room was spacious and well heated. Even though the hosts didn’t speak English, they showed us lots of hospitality.
