Beds in the dorm are big and with electrical blankets for heating which makes it more comfortable. Washroom is clean and hot water available 24/7. Host is very knowledgeable and friendly and provides motorcycle for rent with riding equipment.

Located near Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and Soma Gompa, Rock Castle Residency is in Leh and provides free private parking and a restaurant. With quiet street views, this accommodation features a terrace. We stayed at Castle Rock Residency for four nights in August. We couldn't speak more highly of the friendly and responsive staff. The location is just a short 10 minute walk into Leh market. We stayed in a balcony room which had views over Leh Palace and Tsemo Hill castle. There is a walk to the castle starting next door to the property and is highly recommended for a sunset trek (20 min).

View,host,food ,staff everything was beyond expectation. Host help us in arranging the cab, permit for our travel. She even let us use her kitchen as we wanted to prepare some meal for ourselves. Felt like our second home. Love the place:-)

48 km from Shankaracharya Mandir, Everest Guest House is a recently renovated property located in Gulmarg and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It was an extremely pleasant experience. Everything about the property was great and exceeded our expectations. The owner also guided us when and where to visit which was a great help. The mutton Rogan josh which he specially prepared for us was just amazing and the way it was served to us almost felt like we were home. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. Featuring inner courtyard views, FAVELA HEADROOMS and GROUP OF HOUSEBOATS offers accommodation with patio, around 7.9 km from Hazratbal Mosque. It’s located in prime location easily accessible from main road and then a Shikara person took us inside the resort for Check In. Wonderful wooden room was allocated to us which I guess are newly built. Clean and tidy washrooms having 24/7 hot water,washrooms are very well designed. Host welcomed us with Kashmiri kehwa and arranged a Shikara ride to Vegetable and Floating market in early morning. We wish as we could have more time to spend there but time bounded as there was a flight for us to catch in the evening hours.

Khan Guesthouse Naranag, a property with a terrace, is set in Nikri Dhokri, 45 km from Hazratbal Mosque, 45 km from Shalimar Bagh, as well as 48 km from Hari Parbat. Imtiyaz was an excellent host, providing excellent advice on local trekking, including day and multi day hikes in the area. He organised all permits, and sorted donkeys and supplies at a reasonable price on arrival. Do not book from Srinigar or Delhi, go direct. Imtiyaz's house was clean and comfortable, with an excellent guest room and food, and a lovely balcony.

Situated in Deskit, TRAVELLER NEST features accommodation with seating area. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The rooms come with a terrace with views of the mountain. The room is comfortable, simple but nicely decorated. One room has big windows on two sides, the view is very enjoyable. Enough sockets near the bed. The staff are very kind. The dinner is so awesome!
