Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. The breakfast is perfect, full of everything. The rooms are quite. About 30 minutes from Galway. A perfect stay for my trip.

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Absolutely the best B&B. The hospitality was simply the best - breakfast made to order and delicious. The sitting room was fabulous after a long day of touring. Innkeepers were so gracious. Would absolutely return and highly recommend.

This is a perfect place to get away and unplug, enjoy the quiet and incredible scenery. All the while you’re being taken care of by the nicest woman alive. Margaret was an amazing host and even sent us on our way with a lovely soda bread snack for the rest of our drive. The room had a very comfortable bed, amazing view out to the water, and we slept so very well. Would stay again and would recommend!
