Quiet, beautiful, sounds of nature. Perfect facilities (great shower). Beds, even in dorm are large and comfortable. Lovely restaurant/bar. The food was really good and varied. The atmosphere is great. They’ll help with whatever you need, ongoing travels, tours in the area etc. Can’t recommend enough.

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the... We were afraid we couldn't reach the hotel. The roads in San Miguel are pretty crummy. But Erik guided us to safety! Brenda, who is the chef, made some of the best meals we had in Guatemala - if you stay there definitely try her tamales they're exceptional. Peter, the owner, was a great presence and offered interesting information about the history of the area and what we could explore. This is a place where all concerned genuinely want you to have a good time.

Facing the seafront in Flores, Posada Don Julio has a private beach area and a garden. The property features lake and garden views. The rooms have a balcony with views of the mountain. Hosts are the best! They are really helpful. They helped us to book trips to Tikal and Belize city and also booked boats (even in odd times) to Flores. They are really nice. Property is 5 mins boat ride across Flores town. It’s in a nice garden and has amazing views of the lake.

The lady is really nice. Information on transport to Tikal and Flores is provided, both private and public options. There's a kitchen you can use with drinking water available but if you don't fancy cooking you're right in the middle of the town with easy access to restaurants.

Our stay at Casa Magica was great. It’s super clean, in a great location and the hosts were extremely friendly. I accidentally left a necklace behind and they went above and beyond to find it and return it to me which I was so grateful for. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Flores.
