Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Hanlon Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Stanley, 400 metres from Godfreys Beach. The location was perfect for visiting the Nut, and viewing the penguins at night. A quieter area but close to everything, easy walking. Loved the style of accommodation. Clean , comfortable and so relaxing. We stayed 2 nights, and we loved Stanley.

There was nothing forgotten in this cottage that you wouldn't have at home, even fresh eggs for breakfast and the pantry was well stocked. I will be recommending to all my friends and we cannot wait to go back again.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Richmond Barracks is located in Richmond, 29 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre and 21 km from Derwent Entertainment Centre. The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Stanley, Stanley Lakeside Spa Cabins is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. Lovely surroundings, natural secluded and peaceful.

Absolutely lovely place with cottages with stunning views! It is very convenient for exploring Mt field National Park. The manager was very friendly and accomodating! Will definitely come back here!

Situated in New Norfolk, within 36 km of Theatre Royal and 39 km of Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, Explorers Lodge features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for... The host Michael & Roberto are wonderful. Very communicative and willing to go that extra mile to make your stay pleasurable and "like home". I was so impressed I extended my stay for another 5 nights rather than relo to Hobart as I had originally planned. Don't skip the homemade hot breakfast (eggs are straight from the hens in the garden out back and they are wonderful...so different from store bought US grocery eggs) and there is a Continental option as well. Very clean, very comfortable beds and luxury bedding. Overall an excellent choice for a stay that will not dissapoint,
