This is one of the best value properties we have ever stayed in. The rooms are comfortable, with abundant hot water and heated mattresses to combat cold weather. Additionally the location itself is great, within walking distance of the centre, and situated right next to the night market. What is really exceptional about this place, however, is the hospitality of its staff. We checked in at 2 in the morning and were greeted with more warmth than most hotels would grant you at midday. The gentleman on the front desk, (unfortunately we didn’t get his name), went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at every moment of our trip. At the end of the trip he, free of charge, woke up at 6:30am to drive us to our bus transfer, staying after he did so to ensure we were onboard and comfortable. Whereas offers of help from hotel staff are often only platitudes, my boyfriend got the sense our wellbeing really mattered. Needless to say, if you’re going to stay anywhere in Sa Pa, stay here.

The landlady was lovely. Her laundry service the best we have experienced over our 11months travelling. It was nice having a duvet and the shower was very powerful. The room was cleaned and bedding changed once over our 5 night stay - quite rare for SEA.
