It is a totally unique experience to stay here. It is in the middle of a tiny medieval religious city surrounded by walls, closed and quiet - I kept on asking myself: are we allowed to be here? Once inside the (ages old) pension, you find basic but comfortable rooms and a restaurant that serves great breakfast but also a full-fledged menu for dinner. We have also benefited from the selection of board games (bring your own dice!).

The staff were kind, attentive, patient, and eager to share. The breakfast was abundant, and it was the most well-equipped room with the best internet speed I encountered during my trip to Slovakia.

The hotel is located over a bar/restaurant. It has nice rooms. It's located in front of a square that is surrounded by other restaurants. You can't have dinner at the pension, their restaurant closes for dinner but you just cross the square and you have some you can choose between. The pension has the best pavlova I've ever tasted! It's a pity they don't understand English, so I couldn't ask for the recipe!
Located just 19 km from Spis Castle, Penzión Music features accommodation in Nižný Slavkov with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen.

Good price, proper contact with owners. Kind of basic accomodation, but at super low price. Had really big room for a single person.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Hostel is located near Siva Brada hill which has functioning gazer (not very active but you can fill up your flask with drinkable mineral water). Hostel is near the local attraction - a castle which is must to visit. Hostel is run by family - very kind couple whom makes you feel welcome. Our room was simple but clean for a great price.
Wonderful view to Spis Castle. Short distance from the bus stop. Very friendly and helpfull host. I got to choose which room I wanted to stay in. It was clean and enjoyable :-)
Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful view from the garden. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Easy to get to the town center, bus stop, and the castle. Highly recommend!
Quiet property with a beautiful lawn. We tried the dinner the first day and enjoyed it a lot. We continued to have dinner from the place till we left. They have free parking.
Nice pension, cozy room. Good value for money. Great view on the castle. Friendly lady as owner who let me check in early in morning. Good breakfast with egg, bacon, bread, cheese (additional 7 € to pay)
Nice location, close to the start of a hiking trail to the Siva brada geiser, Spiš Castle, Spiš Capitula and Spišske Podhradie. If you are travelling by car, other tourist destinations, such as Levoča, Žehra medieval church, Spišska Nova Ves and Slovensky Raj hiking trails and caves, are within 30-60 min drive. Friendly and helpful hosts. The house is on a farm and you can see grazing cows. Rooms were basic and simple with shared bathrooms and a minimal kitchenette available.
