Perfect location: right by the castle, park and square. Bus stops nearby and car parking available.
Clean and calm 👍. It used to be a nunnery and looks out into the church courtyard.
For solo travelers traveling to Kaunas:
I very much recommend both here (Villa Kaunensis) and Monk’s Bunk hostel which is one of the best hostels I’ve been in (top three out of about a hundred) at a different excellent location: downtown in the perfect location on the main (walking, no car) street.

It is in a convenient location for a quiet time, but closer enough to the centre that it is cheap and easy to get around. The beds were super comfortable! It was a real home from home feel! The host is very easy to contact and it is comforting to know that he is able to communicate with if anything is needed. It was easy to access and easy to check in and out with the key lock. I would definitely recommend!

The apartment was in a totally quiet location in a courtyard, yet only a one-minute walk to the main street in the heart of Old Town Kaunas. Couldn't have been better. It was lovely to find full toiletries and not just body wash, the nail file and cotton buds were a nice touch. We loved the design of the bathroom and the details in the apartment overall.
