We stayed at Blooming Holiday Resort for two nights and I can honestly say that the hosts, Sewwandi and Pathum were the nicest people we stayed with during our travels in Sri Lanka. They are also amazing cooks/chefs serving fabulous breakfasts and dinners. They also helped with sights information, clothing repairs and onward travel organizing. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the stated amenities. Absolutely recommended!

Nice place to stay in Anuradhapura. A lot of stores and restaurants only a few minutes away. The host and his wife were very friendly and helped us to plan a few steps in Anuradhapura. Also he picked us up by Tuktuk at the bus station and brought us back.

We stayed two nights at Nilu’s and Malsha’s homestay, and it was absolutely amazing. After three weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura was our final stop before heading back to Colombo, and both my partner and I agreed that these last two days were the highlight of our trip. Malsha was a fantastic host. She gave us excellent recommendations, prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts, and even did our laundry. We truly felt at home during our stay. The entire family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also arranged a guided tour of the ancient city with their friend Kamal, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Having done several guided tours during our trip, we can confidently say that this one was the best by far. The value for money here is unbeatable and the location was also exactly what we had in mind. The homestay is situated in a quiet residential area, which we loved, and it’s only a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the city center. Thank you, Nilu and especially thank you Malsha, for an incredible stay. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!
