Beautifully renovated and preserved historic building with all the comforts of modernity. Giovanni was very patient with my late arrival and the room was beautiful and the bed the most comfortable I’ve slept in during a whole month of travel in Italy. Would happily return. Trattoria Mama Mia just up the street is also a local gem for a meal.

We stayed at Menhir last weekend and it was the best experience ever! First off, the place is extremely beautiful and big, the decorations are very homey and lively at the same time. You have a kitchen with water and coffee available, as well as the chance to bring your own food and enjoy it there. The bedroom was very spacious and had the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in a long time, as well as extra pillows and blankets in case you got cold, but the heating was on and super pleasant. The best part where the hosts, we don’t speak fluent Italian and they went out of their way to talk to us in English and words we could grant in Italian. They showed us around and were very attentive to our needs or wants, recommended good places to visit and eat at near the hotel. They also reassured us that if there was anything we needed we could give them a call at all times. They made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was included and it was at a local lounge next to the cathedral with a gorgeous view and delicious food. All I can say is 10/10 experience will be returning!!

Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds with 2 pillows, fluffy towels, good water pressure for showering, simple yet nice breakfast served. Easy 15 minute walk to the center of town. Friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.
