Self contained accommodation. Breakfast included is a real treat. The cheapest for our 10 nights accommodation in Iceland.

The breakfast is the standout here! Amazing selection and service! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the chalets in the back and it was nicely isolated and comfortable. It has a full bathroom and kitchenette. The hotel is very much in the middle of nowhere which we loved! Nice and quiet

The drive to the lodge was amazing. We had excellent weather so every corner was something new to see. The lodge was located in the middle of nowhere which added to the peaceful nature of the surroundings. The views where stunning. Breakfast was great and the host was more than accommodating, offering to make bacon and eggs if desired. The lodge had a very homely feel and was very fish themed.

Very friendly family. We had a nice cabin in the backyard. Although some people might consider the interior somewhat outdated, we believed this was charming. Best salmon for dinner we had in a long time!!

Very comfortable common areas with free coffee(s), tee, etc. OK breakfast. Friendly staff. Managed to get this accommodation at the very last moment (as another guesthouse cancelled our booking half an hour before our arrival!).
