The room was large, warm, and comfy. The breakfast was delicious and we had a large choice of options. Karen was a charming and helpful host. Top marks to Karen who very kindly posted our dressing gowns back to us the next day. We left them on the back of the bathroom door. DOH. VERY GOOD HOST.

Excellent location in a picturesque village, massive property with 7 rooms. We stayed upstairs, so did not hear any other rooms and had a great night sleep. The breakfast was excellent ( full English) , very friendly host. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. Great place to switch off ( we had no phone reception or wi-fi) but this did not affect on our stay.

This little beauty of a hideaway, was just that.. a beautiful hideaway, It was spotless, it was cosy, you got all the breakfast items plus more included, it's located in the most beautiful village, lovely friendly pub straight across the road, which served lovely food, good prices but best of all, had a good section of gluten free meals, would definitely recommend this hideaway 10 out of 10

    A lovely large room with an even larger bath for my wife and a very good hot shower for me. Being a pub on a Saturday night I expected it to be noisy, but it was really quite quiet, which was lovely. Firm bed very comfortable. A quaint character of the room was the sloping floor. Very amusing. All in a lovely village with shops covering everything. Definitely back next year.

    Great location. Secluded but within a short drive or walk to the main village. Quiet and comfortable. Adequate room to relax. Kitchen with enough appliances and kitchenware if you wanted to cook daily. Within good distance of good quality restaurants. Clean and warm with a good shower to clean up after a good stromp over the moors.

    Great Location, lovely views, clean & modern yet still maintaining cottage charm. Host was very nice & kind letting us stay a little longer on checkout. Loved the log burner and would certainly stay again.
