Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The host is super nice that he would show you the hostel, and he even prepared me breakfast and tea. Location is good enough, its quiet and convenient walking to the centre of the town. It makes me feel safe and comfortable. You can cook and hang your clothes. The two cats here are adorable and love to stay close to you:-)
A very peaceful and beautiful place. Amany is the best host - a calm, warm and helpful presence.
Close enough to the main town (we walked once and it was about 20 mins) but you can get to anywhere for a cheap price in a tuk tuk. The desert safari was incredible! we opted for a private one with dinner and it did not disappoint - so much fun with incredible stars and Amany booked us the best chef in town who cooks the food under the sand. Would recommend!
Amazing property with a lovely garden to hide from the heat and an amazing host! I can recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxed stay in a local guesthouse.
Charming place near sand dunes with great view over Siwa oasis. Fantastic breakfast, self-planted dates and olives and charmingly hosted. Language was sometimes a barrier, but we worked our way around. Thank you to Yousef and Ahmed for the great stay.
The bed is huge and very comfortable. Its more like 2 people sharing 1 room rather than the hostel. so it was very quiet and comfortable during night. Room is with balcony and also they provide free laundry.
The hotel has a very good vibe, u really meet people and travel around together.
Good breakfast is the plus and also such a sweet host offers dinner for guests. ❤️
My stay was very comfortable and the hostel provided everything i needed
Abdul and Ibrahim were very helpful with answering any questions I had about the area. Abdul even talked to my tuktuk driver on the phone for me, when i had a hard time communicating with him. The hostel is in the old town, right next to the Shali fortress and has a great view from the rooftop. It was quiet and clean, and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again.
My boyfriend and I had an absolutely incredible stay here! The guest house is so rustic and cosy and relaxing. Our host was so lovely and friendly and there's nothing he wouldn't do for us. The breakfast was massive and so delicious. Location is absolutely fabulous - so easy to walk around Siwa and explore. Our host organised amazing tours for us at an excellent price. We could use the kitchen as we pleased and there was excellent WiFi in the communal area. We were so so sad to leave - it was such a restorative stay.
