We had a nice view of the Rhine river, the fort was right next to us.... only a few minutes drive and you can reach the cable car and visit the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. It's right next to subway and a gas station but a bit far from the main market or visiting places.

The deluxe double room in the tower is amazing, a very large room surrounded by windows that open to a lovely breeze. The bath is large as well with a beautiful class foot tub and separate shower. The breakfast is wonderful too. From the room we watched a swan family playing.

The place was immaculate with flowers, covered patio area, great mattresses. We arrived very early on bikes and the hosts kept our luggage and bikes for us, directed us on where to have lunch and provided maps and advice on a great local hike.
