Great location...very close to the great synagogue and many museums and attractions are in walking distance. You can even get there by foot from the train station, if you're not averse to walking and not carrying a heavy luggage (it's about 20 minutes walk). The rooms are quite big.
Located in the historical center of Pilsen, Pension City features free Wi-Fi in the guest rooms and a rich breakfast buffet each day. The Square of the Republic is few steps away.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This is what my husband wrote about his overnight stay: "The Pension Český Dvůr is a very pleasant place to stay.
The accommodation was simple - but comfortable (I slept very well) and with everything that might be required provided.
There is an associated pub/restaurant (where you pick up your room key) and the staff were both friendly and helpful (particularly as I am not fluent in Czech).
The food in the restaurant was very good indeed and the pricing was exceptionally competitive."
That was quite unexpected stay, as we got caught up while on the road, and needed a place to stay the night. So we appreciate that the pension was able to accommodate us on such a short notice. As for the room, it's simple but has everything we needed for a short stay. The village location near to the nature was a bonus.
