Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. The friendly and informative welcome, the room, the facilities, the amazing array of teas, coffee, coffee beans etc. Then each room had their own breakfast basket in the fridge with a fruit cup, yoghurt, two pieces of bread and some butter pats. The fridge held some homemade jam! Honestly EVErYTHING about this stay was fabulous.

We arrived late due to a problem we had and they waited for us to check in, the location was wonderful. We rested and had a wonderful time staying there. The staff was always very concerned about making us feel comfortable.

So peaceful, loved the birdlife and the sound of the creek. And the table down by the creek was a serene spot. Great furnishings inside this luxurious ‘safari tent’, bed was so comfortable. Rugs for outdoors use provided, we didn’t use them around the fire pit but they came in handy for evenings on the deck. Lovely hosts, welcoming, interesting and considerate. This tent features a shared bathroom and a barbecue. Among the room amenities are a washing machine, a seating area, a dining area as well as an outdoor dining area and garden views. The host was nice and offered a free cabin as we had a huge whānau! Ngā mihinui for that! We had everything we needed in the main house for eating/ chilling out and we slept in our own cabins which was fully furnished and facilities were great! Kai Iwi lakes down the road too and it was peaceful there.

Loved being surrounded by the beautiful trees and river and the feeling of privacy. The unit offered all that was needed and even a lovely fire pit for cosy nights. Host was very welcoming and thoughtful touches of little blankets etc.

The view over the valley was lovely, the tiny away is tiny, but it is your own space and it has a lovely little outdoor area. The host was lovely, he greeted us at arrival and suggested AH Reid walk which I highly support the recommendation. If you like being out of town a little and not in your standard accommodation this place is perfect. Also the place was spotlessly clean and quiet, we slept so well.
