The host was excellent and shared his knowledge of area and tips on things to see and do - thank you Also the room in essence includes a live artwork with the beautiful sliding doors that gave us a lovely full moon scenery over Karikari beach and farmlands - enjoyed watching the cows and highly recommend the local fish and chip shop and a brew in the local. This mobile home consists of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. The mobile home's kitchen, which features a refrigerator, is available for cooking and storing food. Amazing set up and complete privacy. Highly recommended for a relaxing time away for couples. Well set up with a solar powered charging point for devices etc and with barbecue facilities. We loved the outdoor bathtub, hammock and swing area. The compost toilet was very clean. Overall a great experience.

So peaceful, loved the birdlife and the sound of the creek. And the table down by the creek was a serene spot. Great furnishings inside this luxurious ‘safari tent’, bed was so comfortable. Rugs for outdoors use provided, we didn’t use them around the fire pit but they came in handy for evenings on the deck. Lovely hosts, welcoming, interesting and considerate. Loved the whole experience of being on a charming and serene property. Loved being surrounded by the beautiful trees and river and the feeling of privacy. The unit offered all that was needed and even a lovely fire pit for cosy nights. Host was very welcoming and thoughtful touches of little blankets etc.

Situated across the road from Orongo Bay, Russell-Orongo Bay Holiday Park offers accommodation with 3 BBQ areas. Guests enjoy a swimming pool and a TV lounge with a open fireplace. Lovely Cabin, staff were friendly and hospitable. we only stayed 1 night but would have stayed longer had we had the time to.
