Excellent in every way. The view of Mount Fuji from the room was stunning, the room has every amenity you can hope to have and a private outdoor bath you can luxuriate in whilst admiring the view. The Japanese breakfast and dinner was superb and of course the staff were all friendly and attentive.

Set in Gotemba, 22 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Fujino Kirameki Fujigotemba offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The glamping was very nice, our cabin was spacious and warm. The beds were a bit hard, but comfortable. We actually were surprised how comfortable a glamping can be considering it is basically just camping where you do not have to expect much comfort. We ordered 2 sets of firewood and 4 hot lemonades and our evening was just wonderful. Though in the evening Fuji was hidden by clouds due to the weather, in the morning it improved and the view was spectacular! We had both dinner and breakfast and it was just enough for two hungry people, we were a bit clumsy cooking all that good meat but in the end it was delicious!

This tent features a balcony, oven and executive lounge access. Offering a barbecue and terrace, 365BASE outdoor hostel is located in Hamamatsu. Great hostel, a short walk from the train station. Very friendly staff, speak English fluently. We hired bikes for 3 hours and explored the area. There is also free coffee and a big kitchen available for everyone. Wonderful accommodation and only 15 minutes walk from the best onsen we have visited in Japan!
