Air conditioning was excellent. The hotel is located in the old town only a few minutes walk from Plaza Mayor, so lots to see and do nearby. There is a 24 hour supermarket nearby. Excellent hotel for a 3 star. Calm oasis in a busy city.

We booked a superior king room with a city view on the 7th floor which has some lovely views. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning was very good and needed as it was 39 degrees one day. This hotel also benefits from a Roxy garden with comfortable loungers a bar and a pool which was AGAIN required as it was so hot. We also went up to the Roof Top bar which again nice decor and beautiful views of the city and sunset all in all 10/10.

The bathroom and shower were clean and spacious the hostel location is right at the center of Madrid. The highlight is definitely the people! The hostel stuff are absolutely amazing! Gave me tips on the city and helped me feel welcome. In the morning there is complementary breakfast for free which is so welcoming.
