The location was great close to the esplanade. 10 mins walk to the park, 30mins walk to centre or taxi.
The cabins were clean and beds were comfy. Showers were good. Convenient for transport to town or to rainforest attractions and the harbour.
The rainforest trees and gardens were nice.
The reception staff were helpful and friendly.
Beautiful retreat and apartments with a tropical atmosphere. Spacious, light room with a very comfy bed and dito shower.
Spotless clean.
The Bayleaf Balinese restaurant serve great food, definitely a treat for foodies.
Enough parking at the foot of the retreat.
The cabins were so cute! Very comfy and the air con was fab. The staff were really friendly which was lovely! The location is very quiet which was nice and you could see the stars. The buses seem odd and not matching to the schedule - an Uber into town is about $11 a time so just consider that. But very good value for money!
We stayed in a little cabin which was really cosy! We had really good air conditioning, a tv and fridge and towels. We had Shared toilets, showers and a small kitchen facility- was really clean and lovely for a couple of days holiday! We didn’t use the pool but looked cleaned. We used the washing machines which were great
The studio apartment had everything needed to cater for a couple of people. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked well. It's near the beach and shops/restaurants all within walking distance. A secure car park and barbeque area make this an ideal place for a break.
An honest, warm and hospitable welcome by Ingrid the owner. The cabin is tucked in the urban rainforest and is one of only two on site. Bed was comfortable and the aircon efficient. The cabin has a good sized bath and shower above and the on-site pool is great to relax. A little rainforest retreat which is just 10 minutes from Cairns - a car is a must.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, really helpful if we needed anything like new towels etc. I accidentally booked a room with shared bathroom and shower as I would never usually do this but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, bathrooms and showers were clean, the little cabin we had was really clean such a comfy bed..it was a different experience for us but we really loved it and would recommend to anyone looking to get the camping experience but with a bed!
