Where modern heritage meets a warm Derbyshire welcome. Oakhill Hotel is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed (Georgian style) house built by the Arkwright family in the mid 19th century, as a private family... Staff were brilliant. Lovely room. Great food. Really enjoyed our stay.

It was spacious and very comfortable, had everything you needed, very close to Alton towers which we visited for my son's birthday. Hopefully we can return another time 😊

It had a beautiful presentation and was creative and so amazing to eat.

The guidebook was very helpful for appliances in the app and the surrounding areas. The location is fantastic, central to everything and a stone’s throw to the local park. Note to other people staying - you can park around the edges of the Market Place all day without having to pay and display. The bike shop owner told us this the day we were leaving. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious, comfy room and bed. Breakfast was delicious. Plenty of parking. Short walk into town. Ziz was vey efficient and helpful, with a good knowledge of the surrounding areas. We will definitely be staying here in the future.
