Located in the city centre next to the small Suze canal and the pedestrianised shopping zone, the Mercure Biel hotel is easily reachable on foot from the main station. The hotel felt new and was very clean. The staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The attendant at check-in let me know that parking in the street was free and where to go. The free breakfast was the best one on my 10-day trip (just stayed here 1 night). My favorite part was when I returned the electrical adapter (as I had left mine at home), I asked if the hotel sold them since it designed for all European and US/AUS connections and the attendant let me have it free of charge. That alone made me a customer of Mercure in the future.

The room has everything you need: hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee, tea, mirrors.

Art Déco Hotel Elite is a classically elegant building from the 1930s in the centre of Biel, only 200 metres from the train station and surrounded by many shops and boutiques. Very friendly staff, walking distance to train, beautiful clean room, excellent restaurant
