Brooklyn House, hotel in Barnet

Brooklyn House is located in Barnet, 9.3 mi from London. This property is located less than 10 minutes’ walk from Oakwood Underground station on the Piccadilly Line, which connects directly to central...

We were welcomed at the door, and shown to our room, although we arrived a little while prior to the listed check-in time. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were able to safely park on a service road (not a a main through street) directly in front of the house, and could see our car from the window of the room. With the windows closed, it was quite quiet in the room. The windows were of good quality and were effectively sound blocking. We slept well. The ensuite bathroom was small, but beautifully finished, and the shower was hot with more than adequate pressure. Toiletries were provided. We had a food item that needed to be refrigerated. While there was no refrigerator in the room, the host kindly stored this in the main refrigerator until we were ready to leave. This is a little sanctuary that we wish we had found years ago, and will be using from now on when we are in the area. It is well located between two public transportation stations, and in a an area with a high density of shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Nothing , Hi I will never recommend this property to anyone as the location of the property is such that it is isolated from all the facilities ! The property didn’t have any facilities like laundry , microwave and fridge ! It was located near industrial area ! The bathrooms were rusted and dirty and the lights were so gloomy ! I don’t know how it is rated as 4 star in fact it’s not near to even 1 star ! The staff was so unprofessional and they don’t know how to converse ! The continental breakfast was horrible and it was not properly cooked

The price was the best thing. The location was great for North London. The room was large and stylish in a chain sort of way. Great bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast was OK. Parking was free and plentiful.

Very nice place in a good location, outside of the city centre but with good public transport links nearby. The staff were very friendly, the room was large and seemed very clean, and the breakfast was great. I'd definitely stay again!

Very Friendly staff and great location just 15 minutes away from the M1 and close to a tube station. Our Room was modern, clean and comfortable and we appreciated small touches like coming back to bottles of water after a full day out sightseeing.

It's a nice secluded location away from the busy high street. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Nice comfortable beds with quality linen. The common areas are also fresh and welcoming. Excellent value. About a 20 minute leisurely stroll along the High Street to High Barnet Tube Station. The real secret about this place is the restaurant. I highly recommend booking. I shared the squid and the duck salad. Exquisite. Staff and service were absolute top quality. Definitely going will stay when in the area again.

Nice, stylishly designed, clean accommodation. The city center is easily accessible by metro, the station is 5-7 minutes walk from the house. The beds are comfortable, we spent two calm, quiet nights here, we didn't find it noisy at all. The room was equipped with a kettle, which was very useful in the morning, as well as free coffee, tea, sugar and milk. We had to share a bathroom with some other guests but it was no problem for us. We were completely satisfied. A good choice for the price we paid.
