Located a 19-minute walk from the iconic Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel offers an accommodation with a large outdoor pool in Borobudur. Amazing hotel with a top service level and an heavenly rice field view. Very friendly helpful geniune staff! Wow! The Steak and the Lava CAKE was just TOP! I asked to grill my meat ‘saignant’/medium rare & it was just perfect! Thank you for the great experience! Well deserved 5/5! The breakfast was extended and delicious. The tea break was very well organised. Amazing rooms as well. We also liked the authenticity of the Hotel. Very local support and local feeling.

This is a great hotel that I did not expect in Semarang. Bright lobby, great rooms, interesting and inspiring facilities. It may not be a well-known international hotel chain, but in everything this hotel surpasses, for example, a Hilton on the Nusa Dua beach in Bali three times over. Great breakfast, extremely friendly and unobtrusive staff, wonderful little details like macaroni biscuits that welcome you in the room. We were in the hotel twice in the space of five days, the second time we took the best room at the top of the hotel, which is the real poetry of the hotel's beauty. Praise!
