Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

With stunning and exclusive panoramic views of Lake Windermere, this beautiful country house is set right on the lake’s shore. Beautiful room and view only down side was the noise from the room above or aside of us, it may have been being cleaned but it was loud. Other than that it was a beautiful property

Linthwaite House is situated on a hilltop overlooking Windermere, making it the perfect base from which to explore the scenic surroundings. Every single thing was awesome 👏🏻

The Roundthorn Country House and luxury self-catering Mews Apartments are set in landscaped gardens, with panoramic views of the Eden Valley and Lakeland Fells. First class hotel. Friendly helpful staff, beautiful, comfortable room and excellent food. We were driving south from Scotland to Liverpool to join a cruise ship, unfortunately due to bad weather conditions our itinerary was changed and we elected not to sail. I rang the hotel on our way back north and were delighted that they were able to give us the same room. Would definitely stay at Roundthorn again.

Gilpin Hotel & Lake House, an AA 5 Red Star, Relais & Châteaux hotel near Windermere in the beautiful Lake District. The hotel is exceptional and also the staff the room was very spacious and the bed so comfortable cocktails delicious

Set in private grounds above Lake Windermere, Aphrodites Group offers luxury themed suites with spa baths or private hot tubs. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. Lovely place, little dated in places but don’t be put off. Amazing staff and service. Free Prosecco and wonderful breakfast in bed.
