Complementary rusks (fresh and delicious); Additional coffees, tea, jam, and sugar were welcomed. Wines, olive oil, and other items were offered, and for use as needed with the honesty jar supplied. The ultimate favorite for my family was the woodfired up tub. It was the most perfect activity to get warmed up and relax after a long day. We had a nice walk on the gravel road in the morning. Even during load-shedding lights were provided and created an even more comfortable stay. The fresh air in the countryside was soo refreshing. If we had more time we could have joined the Hermitage trial run ( will definitely do that next time). We are coming back to this perfect spot of heaven and tranquility. The tranquil cottage is set on a beautiful little olive farm/ small holding, yet in town and walking distance from restaurants and shops.

Nestled on a working wine and olive farm in the the Robertson's valley, Orange Grove features luxurious self-catering chalets with a private veranda and plunge pool. We had a fab stay. The team at the orange grove were fantastic at looking after us. Perfect for a peaceful stay.

Situated in De Rust, in a historic building, 38 km from Oudtshoorn Golf Course, Meijer's Rust is a farm stay with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. A little slip up on my behalf not noticing the section that said the cottage needed a high clearance vehicle. They happily changed the room for a cottage lower down, which was just as amazing, spacious and super comfortable too.

At the foot of the Montagu Mountains, Kogman & Keisie Guest Farm offers accommodation within a 10-minute walk of the town centre. A very sweet cottage, perfectly decorated and furnished. So peaceful . The guest farm is gorgeous and all the staff is very helpful and nice.

Set within 1.8 km of Swellendam Golf Course and 4.1 km of Drostdy Museum in Swellendam, The Hamlet features accommodation with seating area. Beautiful views and a nice cool pool to relax in. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need, including farm fresh milk and a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar in the kitchen and pool towels for your swim. There are chickens, cows, a donkey and peacocks - so a real farm experience.
