So welcoming and helpful with information that was useful during our stay. She owns a B&B down the road, and she even invited us to come join them for breakfast any morning of our stay. The property was gorgeous and very well stocked with all the items we would need during our stay.

The place was very clean and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were incredibly caring and nice, making us feel very welcome. The location on the island was also perfect. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others.

El agroturismo ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis.... The blue apartment is truly amazing, very nice space. The location is very nice, close to the highway and the centre of Ribeira Grande, but on the same time very peaceful. The hosts have been very polite and friendly, I wish every apartment/hotel had been managed by such people. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Spacious villa with everything needed for a comfortable stay, surrounded by banana trees and pine apple green houses. Especially I liked the ocean pool - perfect spot for a dip into the fresh water. We liked this place very much.

Moinho das Feteiras está a 15 km de Pico do Carvao y ofrece piscina al aire libre y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. We liked the house, the garden and our privacy. The breakfest was delivered each day and with lots of options. Catarina was really nice and very communicative. We can only recommend this property, but maybe next time it would be nice to get other house with a better view at the ocean.

We loved everything about are stay, the host is lovely, the rooms were tidy and spacious. The dogs and the horses are so fun to be around. we would definitely recommend!

El Convento de São Francisco ocupa un antiguo convento franciscano del siglo XVII. Beautiful cloister in the nice quiet town of Vila Franca do Campo. Nice, comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. I will come back.

La Quinta de Santa Clara es un establecimiento acogedor situado a 22 km de la famosa Lagoa do Fogo, la laguna más elevada de la isla de São Miguel. An extremely comfortable, quiet and homely place; although we were there for only three days at the 1 bedroom house, I'd definitely recommend this for (and encourage!) longer stays. We loved coming back to this place after a day of sightseeing and driving around to a quiet location with just the sounds of crickets chirping. It's a well-sized accommodation too, so you never feel squeezed on space. The general location of this place within Sao Miguel island is practically perfect - fairly central and very well connected in a couple of directions, but not too close to any major road so as to be noisy. Bonuses include secure car parking inside the compound, a nice swimming pool, lots of greenery (including plantations of bananas, tea and a few other things that we unfortunately didn't get a chance to try), a very helpful manager in Paulo, and the sweetest German Shepherd named Kika who we already miss a lot :(.
