Omg just stop your research and book this place ASAP. The location is a-m-a-z-i-n-g and the host/staff restaurant are exquisite. Full stop. Ok, you are still reading... So, food-wise: we ate there basically all the time, although it was not our plan, but it was sooo gooood that honestly, it was pointless to go somewhere else. The food is super fresh, literally from the surrounding of the B&B. Breakfast is prepared directly at YOUR table, not some cheap buffet! Keep in mind that the restaurant is so requested that it is better to warn the staff that you wish to eat lunch/dinner. Nonetheless, we didn't have to raise any noise complaints, and our room was directly on top of the restaurant. Room-wise: it is lovely, vintage-retro style with great photos of the B&B in the former times (I guess 1950-70). New AC, silent and clean. The bathroom was nice and well equipped, plus good water pressure. Outside of the B&B you are immersed in nature, there are numerous farm animals (emus, donkeys, turkeys, doggos, cattos, chickens, ducks and roosters), but no unpleasant smells or noises. Parking space is available behind the B&B; although is spacious, keep in mind that it gets packed during lunch/dinner. If you are still reading and you are not booking this place, I'm so sorry for you ;P

Featuring garden views, Azienda Agrituristica Il Pago in Nova Siri Marina provides accommodation, a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. Gorgeous place! Warm and friendly welcome and that despite it being during Sunday lunchtime. Nice, spacious, new room with everything you need and very comfortable beds. Absolutely the best breakfast served with much love and dedication.

Situated 42 km from Pertosa Caves, Taverna Centomani offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and a bar. In all our previous travels, we have never felt more welcomed. Pino, Anna, and Anna's mother, Maria, made us feel like a part of their family in every way. Everything we needed was quickly and cheerfully provided, and all our questions were patiently answered. Plus, the fresh, local dishes prepared by Maria we absolutely delicious. We came to Basilicata looking for an authentic Italian experience, and we definitely found it at Taverna Centomani. We made friends and memories there we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend.

There are no words that will help to describe the experience - the hosts were just so welcoming that I stayed one day longer than anticipated. The care, food and love for detail made the experience just exceptional! Definitely recommend this place

Located in Montescaglioso, 21 km from Casa Grotta nei Sassi, La volpe e l'uva Dimore provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a bar. The view and the overall feeling of the place is lovely and romantic. We enjoyed the beautiful roses outside and the landscape. The room was very spacious Good breakfast, friendly and helpful host. Great value for money.

Set in Montescaglioso, within 19 km of Casa Grotta nei Sassi and 19 km of Matera Cathedral, La Volpe e la Stella by Podere Carriero offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking... Excellent B&B, everything was superb. Our room was very clean and well-equipped, with a nice balcony overlooking the farm. Probably the best part of our stay was the breakfast, with everything fresh and eggs from the farm. The host is amazing. We stayed here and visited Matera for the whole day. We could only stay one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer.
