Hosts were very helpful in making sure we could find the place easily. There was lots of lovely attention to detail. Games to play .Milk had been left for us in the fridge so we could have a cuppa. Really cosy atmosphere when we walked in fairy lights and lamps had been turned on. Shower was nice and hot the bed was extra comfy. Not a single complaint . Might benefit from a matt as you walk in though the door matt outside was very wet from the snow/ rain we didn't want to walk wet shoes in. Wonderful stay .

Loved the decor and the little touches- the lights and the furniture were magical. It was honestly the perfect place to stay. I wish we didn’t have a weekend full of activities planned so we could have just stayed there all weekend! The bathroom was lush and the shower amazing. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Sitting outside on an evening was my favourite thing to do! We’ll be back!!!

The front garden was our favorite place to be, relaxing under a weeping willow surrounded by the flowers, dogs, and quiet.

Battens Farm is a working organic farm located in the Cotswolds, 2 miles from the village of Castle Combe, recently used to film "War Horse", and 11 miles from Bath, the roman spa city.

Battens Farm offers hearty breakfasts using its own produce when available, and delivers it to the guest’s door. A beautiful and lovely property! We stayed in the Farmhouse with three of our children and we all loved it. The beds were soft with heavenly duvets, the wooden floor was painted the sweetest shade of pink, the views were incredible, and the fireplace was laid for us and all we had to do was strike a match. The home had so much character we deeply regret that we were only able to stay one night. And the AMAZING breakfast?!?!?! This was a wonderful experience and one I will be telling all my friends to visit.

This place was really cute! It's lovely and quiet and the grounds were cared for beautifully. The room was a decent size but best of all it was a big bed! Also, they were very generous with the tea and coffee included in the room.
