Raptor Rise is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the cottage which was very comfortable and had a stunning view. It's lovely that they replace your ice, bring you wood and clean your braai each day or when you need it. Really nice touch! We'd definitely go back.

We detested this place and feel completely ripped off. Most expensive of all our stays in a 14 day trip.

Fisaasbos is off the planet.. it's a hidden gem surrounded by the Winterhoek mountains, lush , unimaginable views, peace, tranquility and very pet friendly, property is massive, take the pets, family, friends 😆.. the sunset is soothing, the beauty of the green lawns, plants, trees.. the BBQ area, splash pool, privacy, out in the bush away from the world , fresh baked mornings , the skies 😀 a terrific blue, it's like living in a painting, I've traveled to many places in SA but this 💯 stole my heart.. rietta the hostess is as beautiful as the property, can't get better than this.. I would love to visit again soon.. experiences was phenomenal, meeting prinses the dog also just made our stay even more personal.. my dogs 🐕 enjoyed themselves with prinses 😆 it's definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone seeking peace, adventure , romance or whatever one is looking for at Fisaasbos it's all right there ✅️ baboons barking far far away in the mountains makes for a nice lullaby.. I could go on and on because I'm still reliving everything and I'm still not even close to finish.. but I'll leave the rest up to you to go experience some utter magic 😃

Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Beautiful original farm thatch house,, very rustic and is as its advertised, rustic charm on a Beautiful farm with amazing views and a love walk around the dam.
There were some things that we needed sorting out when they arrived, and the staff just got it seen to in a jiffy!
Met other amazing people there, and we gathered together around the fire, which is amazing!
I now know what I need to bring extra with me for next time I go out to this rustic gem.
An absolutely idyllic farm stay - beautiful views, rolling lawns, rustic cottage with super comfy beds and luxury linen. Highlight was the bunnies which the children loved playing with.
The farm stay was something totally different to what we expected, but it is BEAUTIFUL. The view all around is amazing and still closely located to town.
A lovely rustic cottage. It had all the necessary appliances. The host kept us informed of all wine farms and restaurants to visit. The hot tub was amazing.
The owners are friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful and great value for money. What you see is what you get. I love the rustic look and feel. Even though rustic, the place is well maintained. The open spaces the farm offers were lovely. Nice walks can be taken on the farm. I loved everything about it especially the freedom the space offers
A small farm stay in beautiful surroundings with good eco credentials. Due to the lakes surrounding the property the bird life is exceptional. The staff were helpful and friendly making our stay very relaxing and we really enjoyed the log fired plunge pool. There is a good cafe with a limited menu but food well cooked and beautifully presented. The rooms are modern and yet cosy. A great place to arrive from Cape Town 90 minutes away and chill. Tulbagh is also worth a visit.
