For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Greeted by host who was very pleasant and explained where everything was and how to use. Clean rooms, towels, bedding and appliances. Nice touches included leaving a pint of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar, shower gels and shampoo. Plenty of cleaning materials, dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets, basically everything you would need. Quiet rural setting but less than 10 minutes to the seafront and a large Asda 5 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The bathroom was a good size, clean and had a lovely shower.
The room was comfy and temperate with an easily adjustable radiator.
The room was well presented in a rustic way and the bed was very comfy.
The accommodation is very well placed for exploring.
The little balcony would be really nice if the weather had been better but it was still nice to be able to see the sea, even when it was raining and/or windy!
Nicely proportioned room, clean, very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Very easy to walk to White Rock Theatre and the lovely Rustico Neapolitan restaurant just a few minutes away.
Very welcome arrival. My initial impression was slightly unsure…more of a guest house than a B and B and carpet always scares me 😂…..however, our room was perfect and en suite excellent. Gorgeous view of the sea and all very clean with lovely linen. Breakfast perfect and was so surprised by all the cool vibe cafes and restaurants in St Leonards. Loved dinner at Farmyard. Would definitely visit 15 Grosvenor again! Many thanks for a lovely night away x
The location was very rural but peaceful & wooded walks
