Located 600 metres from Hualien Railway Station, 視界民宿-證號1714,1763- features free WiFi throughout the property. The B&B has a terrace and a shared lounge where guests have a chance to mingle. This hotel is located in a quiet residential area about a ten minute walk from the main station, with a stunning view of the mountains from the front of the property (ask for a room with a balcony for the best views!). The room was huge and spotlessly clean, and although we didn't use the facilities, there was a warm and welcoming dining space downstairs. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had all the information we needed, using WhatsApp and Google Translate to communicate with us both before our arrival and during check-in - although we didn't expect this, it was hugely appreciated!

Everything perfect in this hotel, starting with staff: all sectors, receptionists, restaurant/bar staff, housekeeping. Not only friendly and helpful but really efficient and supportive. Room was impeccably clean (no carpets but modern flooring!) and quiet despite central location (two minutes walk to the railway station). Service was excellent despite high affluence due to tourist groups and weekend. Complimentary, rich supper buffet and afternoon snacks including a well groomed ice-cream bar plus coffee/tea/juices for free. Ample choice for breakfast, both western and eastern style. A heartfelt recommendation if you stay in the area!

Lo Sleeping Boot Hostel dista in auto solo 1 minuto dal centro di Hualien e 6 minuti dal mercato notturno di Ziqiang. Questa accogliente struttura offre la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita. Spacious room. Curtains for the lower beds. Cozy atmosphere. Few types of tea available for the guests for free of charge. IKEA sharks as parts of decoration (joking but it was cute). Comfy armchairs in the common area. In general it was the best hostel during our 2 weeks trip around the island. Very good value for money.

Situated within 7 km of Pine Garden and 13 km of Liyu Lake, H& Kuma B&B features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Jian. Spacious, very good beds, clean. Elevator is good to carry luggage up to the 2nd. floor.

Offering a shared lounge and sea view, Go to Qixingtan Seaview B&B is located in Dahan, 6.3 km from Pine Garden and 22 km from Liyu Lake. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations on places to eat and things to do. He also helped us to book taxis, which is not so accessible in the Hualien area.

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, 48-6 Homestay is located in Xincheng, 700 metres from Manbo Beach and 20 km from Pine Garden. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Very kind and helpful host. Perfect for our trip.

歐巴虎將去旅行오빠 & フーちゃん系列一招待所週年感恩活動 近車站慈濟 後站莊太太民宿 is set in the Hualien City district of Hualien City, 16 km from Liyu Lake, 36 km from Taroko National Park and 1.1 km from Tzu Chi Cultural Park. it was a big apartament, with a lot of equipment and close to the city center
