Boasting garden views, Mikael"s Bed & Spa features accommodation with patio, around 29 km from Oseberg Kulturhus. The accommodation has a sauna. I traveled with my daughter, only for one night, we wanted to be close to Sandefjord and Torp airport, the accommodation is very well located, about 20 minutes walk from the train station, close to e.g. food, accommodation very clean everywhere (room, common areas, kitchen, bathroom), very cozy, we were very pleasantly surprised by the kitchen equipment, coffee, tea and some food for free, thank you very much. A short distance from the accommodation, we also visited the famous Skjellvika beach, it was about a 30-minute walk. very friendly owner, it was possible to check in an hour earlier, we are very grateful for the hospitality. Thank you Mikael for everything.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Sjøgata Gjestehus is a holiday home set in a historic building in Larvik, 300 metres from Karistranda Beach. Everything was perfect!! the house looks exactly like in the pictures. Super clean, modern, spacious, big and well equipped bathroom, amazing kitchen with everything what you need to prepare your meal. Cozy bedroom with super comfortable bed!:)) self check-in was super easy, and the communication with the host, Lena was great:) Thank you Lena for everything!:) Highly recommend this perfect house!

Set in Tuddal, 12 km from Gaustatoppen, Tuddal Høyfjellshotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

With mountain views, Løvheim Gjestehus is located in Sauland and has a restaurant, an ATM, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Everything was perfect! Great location, spotless room and common areas, excellent food served on site, the room itself was large and extremely comfortable, and the hosts were absolutely lovely people.

Located in Stokke, 14 km from Oseberg Kulturhus, Stokke Apartment provides accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. Everything is remarkable. The location is mind blowing. Attention to details was immense. A perfect honeymoon place. i wish i come back here again.

Situated in Flatdal, 42 km from Heddal stave church, Nutheim Gjestgiveri features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This was the highlight of our 16 days in Scandinavia!

Located on Lake Tinnsjå, this Telemark County property is 30 minutes’ drive from the town of Rjukan. It offers cottage accommodation with scenic views. Mini golf and a sauna are on site. I recommend it at any time of year.
