Charming rooms, everything spotlessly clean. Trails at your door step. All guests polite and considerate fitting into this special setting and atmosphere. We loved every minute here.

Nastanitev Stallen - koselig lite hus på gårdstun se nahaja v mestu Skjåk. Very cosy cabin, the most unique and authentic Norwegian stay of our entire trip! There was even a vintage fireplace which the owner helped light up for us. It was convenient to ride to Sognefjellet from here. The cabin has two floors with 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the lower floor, rest in the upper floor. So while the cabin looks small from outside, its actually big :)

We stopped here on a drive from Oslo to Ulsteinvik on the coast. The location is perfect to break your journey and the town is charming. The rooms were fabulous — Scandinavian chique — and the kids loved the upper loft area where they slept. The hotel staff was fantastic and were super accommodating. We arrived late and called in advance asking if we could still eat in their award winning restaurant. While we couldn’t have the standard 5 course menu, they kept aside main course and dessert for us. The meal was the best we had in the trip and the service and hospitality was outstanding!

Well equipped for our one night stay in July 24 even had a toaster which does not seem to be standard else where. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was clean.

Best cabin closest to the lake - fully equipped kitchen - all very comfortable - heated upon arrival - very cozy appeal with fireplace, blankets and candles - all rooms have separate individual electrical heating - nice outdoor seating with cushions - comfy couch in the living - Vågåmo has some nice bakeries and coffee places with short walking distance from the cabins - and 2 supermarkets.

Remote but view spectacular. Hosts were very kind and warm. The breakfast and updating are the result of their efforts. They actually have a charging station for EV rental from Oslo. The farm is rich with history, which they readily share.
