You can use the local hotel for a small charge (Laya $3 Uga $8). Krish and her staff are very kind & welcoming. Krish really is an incredible woman, goes above and beyond for her guests. We had a meal across the road that did not satisfy & after reading reviews about Krish’ food (request in advance) we had an exceptional meal of prawns, rice and curry. Thank you so much Krish, it was a pleasure meeting you. 2 nights wasn’t enough. Expect a quiet area with no WiFi, clean, comfortable and spacious- you will not be disappointed! Sri Lankan breakfast was also superb.

The host, Nava, was very attentive and thorough. The room was clean, well furnished, good AC and fan. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. Well priced - we would have happily paid more for our stay.

We liked everything about the resort great location beautiful beach, very nice tented villas, delicious food and the most important very good service. The General Manager Mr. Robert is a very kind and hospitable man he make sure that we had great experience in the resort. I would like to mention that there is big population of stray dogs in Sri Lanca which is heartbreaking it was impressive to see that Mr. Robert is taking care of the strayed dogs around the area “ a man with a big heart”.

We stayed at Coastal Villa Kallady for a couple of days. It was fabulous, amazing beautiful place to explain. We had an extraordinary time at this splendorous place! By tuktuk, it would take 5 minutes’ drive from Batticaloa Railway Station. Instead, we had a walk from station, and it took 20 minutes. Not only we walked through Kallady Bridge but also we enjoyed our morning sunrise. No sooner did we arrived to Coastal Villa Kallady, we were welcome by the hosts and the lovely family greeted us with joyous smiling face serving with passion fruit juice and we had pleasant taste and their welcoming of us was impressive. We assure that We did not go out to have our breakfast, lunch and dinner and every dish was huge in quantity with Western, European and Asian cuisines they served to us, we encountered every dish with pleasant taste all were haute cuisines here in Coastal Villa Kallady, and we met the place spotless, good kitchen, noise free atmosphere, the front side of the home was very beautiful with bougainvillea with the small cottage in, the backyard was also sandy to have leisure. It was an attractive Homestay! The evening we had a swimming using snorkel in the Kallady Beach the distance of it from Coastal Villa Kallady 3 minutes’ walk. We are in a hurry to recommend of the Coastal Villa Kallady for backpackers and vacationists it is a suitable and an amiable place for Homestay. The Queen of the house the Suzanna’s handmade food excellent and thank you for all the family members Joel and Jutha. Jutha, the house owner took us to all the stunning places as a guide and we thank you very much and we wish your service be blessed.😍

It is with great pleasure that I leave a review about the Sunrise Pasikuda Hotel! My family and I spent a wonderful 11 days-I didn't want to leave! The two-room family room turned out to be very large and comfortable: 2 bathrooms, a bathroom, comfortable ergonomic mattresses, clean linen, all(!) possible accessories for personal care and hygiene, coffee and tea in the mini-bar, which was replenished in the morning and evening, room cleaning 2 times a day, a spacious terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture, views of the beach and tropical park. Two small two-storey buildings of the hotel are located on the huge green territory of Sunrise Pasikuda Park, with giant palm trees and many other trees and plants, which adjoins a wide beach with snow-white sand. One of the best beaches we've ever seen. The beach is snow-white, spacious with a very hospitable ocean! The entrance to the ocean is on fine sand and a shallow bottom, without waves, which allows you to swim all day in peace. The part of the beach belonging to Sunrise Pasikuda has comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses and towels, which are kindly provided by the hotel. Sprawling trees with a vast and dense crown serve as a real salvation from the midday sun – thanks to the hotel staff for taking care of these beautiful trees. There is also a huge swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which extends throughout the park: from the hotel buildings to the coastline. Fresh shower. Delicious breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. From the usual omelets to Ceylon exotics; an abundance of pastries, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices. We really want to thank all the staff of the hotel! The management of the hotel, the staff of the restaurant, the beach, the rooms, the gardeners, the reception. You have given us an unforgettable, wonderful experience! We did everything possible to solve our everyday problems and at the same time left the opportunity to be alone with our family and our journey.

Lord Of Beach Resort & Yoga Meditation Centre localiza-se em Batticaloa, a menos de 1 km de Praia Kallady, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um terraço. Such a nice place. The owner and the guardian are super cool. Very helpful. Everything is top notch at this place. What I loved the most was the small basketball court that they have in the premises.
