Tucked away from the main road, it’s perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Batticaloa. Nava, the owner, is one of the loveliest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only was he unbelievably welcoming but he helped us so much when our train got cancelled because of flooding. He sorted us out with a driver and some fruit for our journey. We are so grateful to him for being so kind and helpful, we would have been lost without him! Would strongly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Karpaha Sands and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet, romantic beach-side hotel with great food and drinks, and wonderful staff. Special thanks to Umberto, an excellent GM who is very kind, approachable and doing a brilliant job; Ash, our butler, who patiently and expertly took care of any and all requests or ideas that we had; excellent waiters like Sarath, who made us feel very welcome and took great care of us; our two great masseuses; and Thilina, a master chef who cooked up a storm for us on the beach and with whom we took a fun cookery class (I am still thinking about your tuna steaks!). Karpaha Sands will always hold a special place in my heart after proposing to my now fiancée on the beach at sunrise - it is a little slice of paradise. Coastal villa is a beachfront property set in Batticaloa, 2.5 km from Batticaloa Railway Station and 3.6 km from Dutch Fort Batticaloa. A perfect stunning location is the Coastal Villa Kallady. It was a magical experience we had during our stays for two nights. We were recommended this homestay by our friend and we were not disappointed. We were taken to our beautifully appointed room and then we were offered welcoming nectar to quench our thirst first, it was a great hospitality then continued throughout our stays with excellent service and here we had awesome menus for its first class homemade food delicately served, the dishes were priced are cheaper and worth in US Dollar for its dishes and it was easy to pay in Dollars. We really enjoyed our lingering here. Superbly we were hosted by the family members Suzan the chef’s cooking wonderful luscious. Coastal Villa Kallady is a blissful for everyone should experience for the stays and we would have no hesitation in recommending. A real treasure hidden away in Kallady Batticaloa. The Kallady bluish beach is a distance of 2 minutes’ walk. Railway station, bus tops are accessible to reach within a paces of walks. We thank to Coastal Villa Kallady.

Set in Pasikuda, a few steps from Pasikuda Beach, Sunrise Pasikuda offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Breakfast is a beautiful, elegant thing; a meal to be savored and embraced. I have the same feeling when I walk in a very beautiful place that I have when I play and it goes right.

2.6 km from Kallady Beach, Leena Holiday Home is a recently renovated property set in Batticaloa and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The villa is newly built. It is sparkling clean, the service is extremely good. In the kitchenette there is an air fryer, small electric stove and microwave. The host is attentive and helpful and speaks great English. Beautiful backyard to layback. We will definitely come back here if we are around. Mind that location is a bit off site but this was not a problem for us as we had a car.

No issues with mold. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Short walk to a beautiful beach. Friendly host and family.

Set 1.2 km from Kallady Beach and 5.5 km from Batticaloa Railway Station, Soul connection. Chapter 2 features free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchen, balcony and seating area. Manoj is a very friendly host. He made our stay very special. You can feel that hosting and meeting people at soul connection is his passion by heart. We enjoyed our stay with him very much. You should go for the cabana, it's beautiful, handmade and some things are made of reused wood. You can sleep with a fresh breeze and view of the lagoon. It's magical. Manoj offering as much tea and water as you can drink and takes care of you. Food is also tasty and we explored some local cuisine with him. It's a very peaceful place. A beautiful beach is nearby and you can explore the lagoon as well. In walking distance there is also a place for lunch.
