You can watch hippos, baboons and crocodiles in the river just a few steps from the camp. Magdy and his staff are very attentive and kind. We also booked a game drive and we were very happy with our guide! Would definitely stay there again! Note if you arrive from Nairobi by rental car: -make sure you rent a 4WD -the fastest road to the camp is through the park on the C12 - entering at Sekenani Gate. However, the guards there didn't let us pass. They wanted us to pay the entrance fee and said that we weren't allowed to pass for free (as we read in other reviews before). So we ended up taking "Simba Road" which was recommended by the locals in the village before the gate. Be aware that this road is very bumpy and ask for directions towards Talek. It goes around the park to Talek. -do not take the C13/C14 from Narok!! -when we left we were allowed to go through the park from Talek Gate. They gave us a ticket which is called "Transfer ticket" which is valid for two hours and is for free. So a ticket like this still exists, apparently it depends on the guard if they will give it to you or not!

Perfect location - right next to Ol Kiombo airstrip, the most amazing staff, incredible food, and beautiful tents! Our safari guide, Joab, and the staff namely, Metrine, Masila, Charles and Sallilah (apologies for any typos!!) were very friendly and took a lot of effort. We thank the entire team for their dedication and hard work.

Kambu Mara Camp encontra-se em Sekenani e apresenta acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e um salão partilhado. The accommodation is ideally situated in close proximity to Masai Mara Park, allowing us to sleep in close quarters with the wild habitats of zebras, zebus, and hyenas. Our stay was in a spacious tent that was well-equipped with all necessary amenities for a comfortable experience, including a thoughtful provision of a lamp for late-night bathroom visits to the nearby outhouse. Sarah and Nathan were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to arrange transportation for us from Narok to the Kambu Mara camp. Sarah's thoughtful gesture of providing souvenirs featuring the camp was a delightful touch.

Resian Mara Camp localiza-se em Talek e dispõe de acomodações de 3 estrelas com um salão partilhado, um terraço e um bar. The property is situated very near to the Sekeneni Gate and almost in the wilderness. We could hear Hyena howling and saw a number of zebras and warthogs near the property. The tents are large, simple but had everything we needed starting from hot water, toiletries, water, good bed. But the best part of the stay was the excellent staff especially Shoila who helped a lot.

Amazing friendly people! Delicious food (we had the all-inclusive option and breakfast, lunch and Dinner was very well cooked and delicious). Super clean und comfortable tents and cabins. It is a community based project; eg children profit from the generated income. It is located only 5 minutes away from Sekenani Gate. Therefore it is perfectly suited to stay here for 2/3 nights and to do a game drive to Maasai Mara (160$ per car). Please note to bring enough cash to pay the entrance fee of 100 or 200$/person to the Maasai Mara (credit card usually does not work). We booked the game drive with Semadep Safari Camp and we had an amazing game drive day with Dennis (guide) and Jhon (Driver). Both of them are so wonderful people and showed us so many animals. We had our Breakfast and lunch during the safari since we left 5:45. Both was very well prepared from Semadep chef.

The team and manager are very lovely and helpful to made our stay as comfortable as possible. The manager surprised the camp guests with a camp fire and special show with traditional Maasai dances. A very unique experience we enjoyed a lot.
