Located in Amboseli, 70 metres from Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Rooms are very spacious. Not all have good views, ours had, but in any case, you don't see the Kilimanjaro from the property. Excellent buffet. Very good common areas. Personnel very well trained and friendly.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Everything was incredible. The lodge represents the perfect combination of nature and comfort and is no doubt an amazing place to relax, which was my main goal. I loved the trees, the stone pathways woven between them and protected by shadow, the monkeys and other animals that walked by. I loved how spacious the tukul was and how the decoration fit into the surroundings so perfectly. It's great to rest in between game drives or even for longer periods, as was my case. I enjoyed some time in the pool, walking the grounds and stargazing by the firepit at night. The staff was incredibly welcoming but still respectful of my space and privacy. They always asked how the day went, always were available to help in any way and even made me a cake to say goodbye on my last night. To be honest, even after seeing the lodges inside the Amboseli park (which no doubt can be more convenient for game drives), I felt that Amboseli Sopa Lodge fit me much better. I could not recommend it enough and I hope I get to return at some point with family or friends.

With mountain views, Amboseli Discovery Camp is set in Amboseli and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area. Staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Food was basic but good. Loved the bonfire at night, comfy beds, felt very safe and well cared for. We were a group of 11 people, ranging in age from 13 to 60 and we all enjoyed a night of "true safari style" lodging. We'd totally book again.

With mountain views, Tawi Lodge is set in Amboseli and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The accommodation has a hot tub. Tawi Lodge is a strikingly beautiful spot. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots to do - game drives and activities with knowledgeable guides arranged around your desires and schedule. Also Tawi is a relaxing location to sit and watch the wildlife who come by (there is an electric fence) including monkeys, impalas, giraffes and occasionally elephants using the mud hole. Food is absolutely exceptional. Each meal is unique, crafted by the in-house chef using ingredients grown in their greenhouse. The manager, Gladys, is a true delight. She cares about her guests and works hard to manage everyone's requests, always with a smile and a friendly positive attitude. Tawi is not inexpensive but includes all food (including wine!) and many activities (game drive are extra). So the cost ends up being reasonable.

Located in the heart of the Maasai country, Maasai Simba Camp is situated 35 Kilometers from Amboseli National Park and offers stunning views of the African savanna and the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro. The staff here couldn’t have been more fantastic. Brian’s cooking was phenomenal, Kwenia and Tom were great on walking safaris. Tom even took me across the border into Tanzania on my last day to continue on my journey. The location is serene and beautiful. Got to walk among giraffes and to learn a lot about tracks, plants and the Maasai culture.

Great location with awesome views of Mt Kilimanjaro, right near the Kimana Gate of Amboseli. All the conveniences of a Luxury Lodge at a fraction of the price.
