The hotel provided a lot of food and attraction recommendations on Hakatajima. I am very glad they helped me to reserved seats at the dinner place they recommended, which was delicious. Hotel is near to many other locations. I saw a tiny crab walking outside of the hotel at night, it's so cute!

It’s a wonderful guesthouse with a beautiful river right next to it. The owners are lovely and my room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and they can change it to vegetarian for you. It looks like they’re trying to use natural products wherever they can! I really enjoyed staying here :)

Very nicely presented house. Nice mix of traditional and modern features. Lots of space. Easy to do laundry. Nice outdoor cooking area - we didn't use it but it looked good.

Set in Sakaide in the Kagawa region, 古民家ゲストハウス穏 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This one was very nice, felt like home, I was lucky to have the place all to myself. Owner was informative and super friendly.

Onyado Shikishima-kan offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 32 km of Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 40 km of Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

Set in Waki, within 41 km of Yakuri-ji Temple and 41 km of Shiraha Shrine, ADLIV/Factry Stay/工場に泊まれる offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... Very nice guest house in a factory which is very unique ! The location is closed to many commodities, in the industrial zone (obviously) there is a big parking. In few minutes by car it is possible to reach Mima renovated old streets and it is also a good spot to stay before going to Tsurugi mountain. While the staff who helped us to check in does not speak english he used a translator and things went really well. All the staff was very nice with us.

Located in Matsuyama, 600 metres from Joshin-ji Temple, Yamatoya Besso offers accommodation with a spa and wellness centre, private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. Yamatoya Besso is a very exceptional place where you get to experience a ryokan in an amazing onsen. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. I am hoping to visit again in the future and if I do, that would be a third visit.

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great rooms in a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast superb. Staff lovely. Wine was a very reasonable cost

Situated just 38 km from Nishihama Park, Katsuo Guest House provides accommodation in Kochi with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Nothing bad to say about Katsuo Guesthouse. The owners are super friendly, and they upgraded me from the dorm room to a private room for free! The facilities are excellent, everything clean and comfy. Very handy map of the area and info provided as well. Wish I had stayed longer!

Featuring beautiful nature views from its rooftop hot spring bath, Hotel Kazurabashi offers Japanese-style rooms and a dining room where food is prepared in the hearth at the guest's table. Incredibly kind staff, lovely room and onsen.
