In the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter district of Kurashiki, close to Shinkeien Garden, 滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado has free WiFi and a washing machine. This room was so beautiful! I would move in :) The attention to detail here is insane. Highly recommended.

Located in Kurashiki and with Shinkeien Garden reachable within 1 km, Nagi Kurashiki Hotel&Lounge provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi throughout the property and a... I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, there was filtered water and high quality snacks provided every day, the room was big and comfortable and the hotel was a short walk to the train station. You can tell a lot of care has gone into everything and it allowed me to feel at home and relax. Kurashiki is a pleasant place with nice shops and restaurants and I used it as a base to explore the wider Seto Inland Sea area.

Everything! The place is beautiful, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful lounge area, and a great deck for a barbeque or relaxing in the sun. Muya is a great person, he will help you with everything you need. The Island is also beautiful and has many hiking trails, some starting right outside the villa. I would definitely like to come back again.

The house is a beautiful traditional house near the ferry. We loved our stay here, as the manager was super friendly and helpful. We stayed with our 8 month old son and they had organised a baby bed which was very appreciated! :) Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was absolutely fabulous! The highlight of our trip and so off the beaten trail. The ryokan is stunning and right in the historic district on the canal. The 11 course dinner served in our room was delicious and such a special experience of Japanese foods. The breakfast was also delicious and traditional and served in a peaceful breakfast room. We loved the experience of the onsen, having dinner, and then taking a stroll by the canal in our yukatans. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Japan.

The whole place is spacious and the host provides delicious dinner for you, the location is a bit far away from city centre and major attractions but if you are driving then it will not be a problem

Offering a terrace and garden view, Casa 狐穴 KitsuneAna 和モダンな100年古民家で里山を体験する is set in Akaiwa, 10 km from Isonokami Futsumitama Shrine and 11 km from Yurugi Iwa Shrine. The property was huge, wonderful and our hosts were so lovely and generous. We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have spend more time locally to appreciate our surroundings.
