250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. location was perfect. just less than 5 min walk to DDDK. And location was centralised to many sights and F&B options. for the price point, this hotel is perfect for my large family.

In the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, close to Yukemori Observatory, OMOLOSO Hostel オモロソウ ホステル features a garden and a washing machine. Toshi-san provides us with exceptional hospitality, and we’re grateful for his kindness. The Pokemon room is beautiful; it has a nice view of Beppu City. Thank you for this amazing experience staying in a hostel.

Situated 44 km from Resonac Dome Oita, 湯布院月灯り offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. Good service and warm welcome that made me feel like home, I love the host, she so nice, she made breakfast by herself, It so good. I will be back if I come to Yufuin.

This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

Boasting an open-air bath, garden and views of mountain, Ikkoten is situated in Yufu, 50 km from Resonac Dome Oita. This ryokan offers free private parking and full-day security. The location and serenity were like none other. The staff was so kind and provided an incredible atmosphere. The food was 12/10, I would go back just to try more seasonal favorites.

AMANE resort GAHAMA features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 24 km of Resonac Dome Oita and 4.4 km of Beppu Station. The villa and maisonette experience was extraordinary, as both properties have unique views. The maisonette has lovely sea view and the villa has a beautiful small Japanese garden. Both properties are very private and the amenities are excellent. Although our stay was expensive in our view, it is worth the experience and we would love to return to this property again. We also love the private onsen which we used day and night and also we enjoyed wearing the traditional yukata and the thick overcoat which kept us warm during the buggy ride to the gahama seikai tower for breakfast. The breakfast spread was also very good. The housekeeper managed to retrieve my ear stud back button when i told them i lost it. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Providing quiet street views and an open-air bath, Baien offers accommodation well located in Yufu, within a short distance of Kinrinko Lake, Yufuin Stained Glas Museum and Unaki Hime Shrine. Love everything about it😍 the friendly staff, beautiful annex, clean Onsen, amazing japanese breakfast and the location, which near by a wonderful little village called Yufuin floral village. This is our best choice of hotels out of 9 in this 3 weeks back packing Japan trip.

Kutsurogi-no-Yado Nanakawa offers private maisonettes with a private outdoor hot spring bath, a Japanese-style living room and free wired internet, a mere 1-minute stroll from Lake Kinrin. Breakfast and kaiseki dishes at Nanakawa are truly indulgent! The hotel staff provide impeccable service! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the shopping street and the Lake. I will definitely consider staying at Nanakawa again on my next visit!

Yufuin-Sanso Waremokou offers large Japanese-style rooms boasting an open-air cypress hot spring bath, sweeping nature and city views and a massage chair. The private onsens! And how well maintained it was but keeping the traditional feel. Food and service was great! Highly recommend
