During our 16-day holiday in Japan, my husband & I, together with another couple, stayed in 7 ryokans/hotels & Iseya is the BEST! The hotel is new & clean & the facilities are so good! We opted for dinner & breakfast in the hotel & we were so happy & satisfied with the quality & freshness of the food & service level of the attending staff who went beyond their call of duty to make us comfortable! Special mention goes to a male service staff (I think he is the supervisor; forgot his name but was Mayama or something) who served us dinner on 15 Nov. We wanted to order a bottle of red wine & sake to go with our dinner & asked for his recommendation. The sake he recommended was so good, we decided to buy 2 extra bottles to bring home! When this same male service staff heard from us that we had to rush off to catch the ferry to Kumamoto the next morning & breakfast only starts at 7.30am, he left word for our breakfast to be ready earlier. We were pleasantly surprised & so grateful that a new batch of service staff were waiting for us at the dining room when we went down to checkout at 7.20am on 16 Nov. Really fantastic service! Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei se nachází v oblasti Nagasaki, 10 minut jízdy od mírového parku Nagasaki. Nabízí výhled na krásnou Nagasaki, veřejné lázně a parkování zdarma. This hotel is a little out of the way, but really worth it for the view. It's relaxing to see Nagasaki from above at different times of day. The staff were so friendly and always smiling and greeting guests, even giving us big waves as the station shuttle departed. I recommend taking advantage of the shuttle bus because while the city bus gets near the hotel, it's a steep mountain and the remaining walk is quite intense. The included breakfast was high quality.

The owners were extremely hospitable, from helping make reservations for restaurants and activities on the island to greeting us when we come back from a day of exploring the island. The owners prepared meals as well, which was exceptional. We loved the architecture and atmosphere of the accommodation itself, as it was a newly renovated traditional home. Thank you Masumi San and Oo San, we loved our stay here so much I could not speak highly enough! :) <3

GOTO RETREAT by Onko Chishin se nachází v Goto a nabízí ubytování s sdíleným loungem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Fukue Catholic Church je 9,3 km daleko. This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed and the quality of the service exceeded my expectations.

UNZEN HANZUIRYO by Onko Chishin se nachází v destinaci Unzen a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a sdíleným loungem. Nagasaki Museum of History je 48 km daleko. This is an outstanding unique property if you like hot thermal spas. While I am not a fan of public bathing I found some hours when no one was there and I snuck in. What a luxury!!!! For next year I am getting suite with the private hot thermal spa so I don’t have to worry about the privacy. That having been said this place is six stars the service the food the Japanese ambiance and the entire experience is complete. I am an international traveler and I go to high end places only. This place was an amazing surprise in the middle of Unzen. I highly highly recommend it

Setre Glover"s House Nagasaki se nachází v historické oblasti Minami-yamate a nabízí prostorné pokoje s okouzlujícím evropským nábytkem. Just a few steps down the hill from the Setre Glover House and Gardens. Also very close to the tram Line which takes you to most of the attractions in the area. Staff was lovely and the included breakfast and dinners were all an amazing value and very unique. They were exceptionally wonderful about all of my families’ food allergies and preferences. Note- they do eat whale here which was a bit of a shocker!

Renovated in April 2018, i + Land Nagasaki is 18.5 km or a 40-minute drive from Nagasaki Station. A hot spring bath, sauna, garden and kids area are available for guests. *This was a resort with good facilities as well as peaceful and beautiful environment away from tourist crowd. It was idea for relax and refreshment. *Room was spacious, modern, spotless clean, very quiet and comfortable, with breathtaking ocean view. Bathroom was large with powered shower. *Breakfast was tasty with a lot of choices. Dinner was very delicious and good in quality. *Hotel staff were very nice and initiative especially the Nepalese staff of reception counter and restaurants. I was ill during my stay. However, it was lucky that two of the restaurant staff of Garden Area, initiatively gave their helping hand when I was in need. They were so caring and thoughtful. They even prepare suitable food for me to take in my room. Great thanks to the help of the two male staff, one Nepalese (senior restaurant staff) and one Bengali. * We have memorable stay here.
