Well located in the centre of Hiroshima, fav HIROSHIMA HEIWAODORI provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a restaurant. The size of the room exceeded my expectations. The shower and tub were huge! Room had a washer that we didn't use.

Well set in Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima offers 4-star accommodation close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. Very stylish hotel with great, spacious and modern room. The location is close to the city center and train station. Nice pool.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The serenity, on the ocean but slightly away from the business. Nice room, good amenities and delicious dinner and breakfast. Staff was incredible and we rented bikes to get us around for only ¥500!

Situated in Hiroshima and within less than 1 km of Myoei-ji Temple, LAZULI Hiroshima Hotel and Lounge has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Very friendly staff! The room was clean, comfy and nicely decorated, felt more homely than a usual hotel room. The breakfast was delicious and included local products (and a leaflet with backstory on those).

Boasting sea views, Guest House Gamigami provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge, around 3.1 km from Saikon-ji Temple. Location is right on the coast of a small island with unobstructed ocean views. The Manager is very helpful and even picked me up from the ferry terminal at the beginning of my stay and dropped me off at the end. Price was excellent.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Our room was spacious and very authentic Japanese while also being very comfortable. The view over the bay was amazing. The dining experience was unforgettable and our dietary requirements (vegetarian) were perfectly catered too. The private bath was also a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even by Japanese standards. Overall, we were sad that we only booked one night here.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

Located in Miyajima, 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 400 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, 宮島 町家宿 進龍庵 provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The host was so lovely and helpful and did her best despite the language barrier. Would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful accommodation, which was so close to everything.
